Job Title: Senior Network Security Engineer – Fortinet (NSE 7)

Experience: 6 – 10 Years

Hours of operation: 8hrs weekly rotational shifts

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Fortinet Security Solutions to join our growing Cyber Security team.

Key Responsibilities:

Firewalls – Palo Alto / FortiGate

• Deploy, configure, and manage FortiGate Firewalls.
• Administer FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer platforms.
• Configure Security Policies, NAT, IPS, Application Control, Web Filtering, and Threat Protection.
• Perform firewall upgrades, migrations, firmware updates, and vulnerability remediation.
• Configure and support High Availability (HA) and clustering solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, and ADVPN.
• Monitor security events, incident response, and threat investigations.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Prepare HLDs, LLDs, SOPs, implementation plans, and operational documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–10 years of Network Security Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls.
• Expertise in FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
• Experience with Fortinet SD-WAN deployments.
• Strong knowledge of IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, and ADVPN.
• Experience with HA and clustering solutions.
• Knowledge of BGP and OSPF.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Technical Skills

• FortiAuthenticator, FortiSwitch, and Security Fabric solutions.
• Exposure to Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA/FTD.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and cloud security technologies.
• Familiarity with ZTNA, SASE, and cloud security architectures.

Mandatory Certification

• Fortinet NSE 7 / FCSS – Network Security

Preferred Certifications

• Fortinet NSE 5 (FortiManager / FortiAnalyzer)
• NSE 4 – FortiGate Administrator
• CCNP Security / CCNA Security
• PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks)
• Check Point CCSA / CCSE
