Contracts Manager – Façade Remediation
Location: London / South London
Salary: up to £85,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits
Employment: Permanent
We are working with an established main contractor delivering façade remediation, fire safety and refurbishment projects across London.
They are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee three residential façade remediation schemes across East and South London.
The projects involve the removal and replacement of existing cladding systems, insulation, masonry elements and associated balcony works on occupied residential developments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site teams, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of three façade remediation projects
- Manage and support Site Managers and project delivery teams
- Attend regular client and site progress meetings
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Monitor and update project programmes, identifying potential delays and resolving issues early
- Ensure high standards of health & safety across all projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, resources and project requirements
- Take a proactive approach to project delivery, identifying solutions and keeping works progressing
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within façade remediation, cladding replacement, external refurbishment or decarbonisation
- Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
- Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
- Good understanding of programming, site operations and health & safety
- Experience working on occupied residential developments
- Confident managing Site Managers and subcontractors
- Proactive, organised and capable of making decisions to keep projects moving
- Relevant CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
Package:
- up to £85,000 basic salary
