Front office risk and control manager

My London based Wealth management client are currently hiring for an experienced Front Office Risk Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with clearly defined structures and processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Allocate workload to the team providing QA and coaching on processes
• Co-ordinate Front office activity managing risk and control requests through the business
• Work with wider compliance team to review cases and advise on best processes
• Manage risk and control trends and identify mitigating actions to protect client and business interests
• Track risks through the business and work with wider teams to source resolutions
• Produce reports covering compliance and risk factors and business KPIs
• Provide guidance for client facing colleagues including Wealth Managers and Planners to ensure correct portfolio management and compliance
• Conduct QA checks across the business including colleague reviews and monitoring of processes

Key experience for this role includes:

• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and risks within these for compliance
• Experience of working within a Wealth Management organisation with experience within advisory environments
• Strong experience of carrying out internal reviews of client cases
• Extensive team management experience
• Strong experience of managing client portfolios for risk and compliance.
