Job Description
• $100–$170 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the legal judgment you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real attorneys. The teams building them need legal professionals who can assess complex scenarios, judge the accuracy and soundness of AI-generated legal work, write clear corrections, and explain exactly where the reasoning is incomplete or unsupported. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of legal AI. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Work through legal scenarios drawn from litigation, corporate transactions, regulatory matters and compliance
• For AI-produced legal work, check whether each analysis, argument, contract or other document is accurate and sound
• Spot the main legal issues and risks, then flag missing facts and gaps in the reasoning
• When two legal readings compete or the answer is unclear, give precise feedback and make the needed corrections
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $100–$170 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most attorneys will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal practice, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• Juris Doctor degree earned at a U.S. law school, together with an active license to practice law in one or more U.S. states or the District of Columbia
• More than three years in substantive legal practice, following completion of your J.D.
• Strong legal reasoning and issue spotting, plus experience with legal writing and document review; careful attention to detail and clear written English communication
• No experience in AI training work needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $100–$170 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
