Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AS400 (IBM i) Developer with strong hands-on expertise in RPG/RPGLE, CL, DB2/400, and SQL , along with experience supporting or enhancing a Dealer Management System (DMS/DBS) . The ideal candidate will have experience working with dealership business applications such as Parts, Service, Inventory, Sales, Warranty, and Accounting modules.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of IBM i (AS400/iSeries) development experience.
  • Strong programming experience with RPG IV, RPGLE (Free-Format), CL/CLLE, DB2/400, SQL, and DDS.
  • Experience working with a Dealer Management System (DMS/DBS) in the automotive, heavy equipment, truck, or agricultural dealership industry.
  • Knowledge of dealership business processes including Parts, Service, Inventory, Warranty, Purchasing, and Sales.
  • Experience with application support, enhancements, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Familiarity with modern IBM i development tools, APIs, and system modernization is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
