SAP Developer

Duties

• Develop, customize, and implement SAP modules to meet specific business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze system needs, and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Design and develop APIs, web services, and interfaces using RESTful API standards to facilitate communication between SAP and other enterprise applications.
• Maintain and enhance backend systems by writing efficient code in languages such as ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming), Java, C#, and JavaScript.
• Conduct system design activities utilizing UML diagrams to visualize architecture and workflows for scalable system development.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables while adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment using tools like GitHub, TFS (Team Foundation Server), or Jenkins to accelerate development cycles.
• Support cloud infrastructure deployment on platforms such as AWS or Azure, ensuring robust security and scalability for enterprise applications.
• Develop front-end UI components with frameworks like React, Angular, or Bootstrap to create intuitive user experiences aligned with modern web development standards.
• Engage in Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to promote iterative progress and team collaboration.

Experience

• Proven experience in SAP development roles with a strong understanding of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, or HANA.
• Extensive knowledge of application design principles including system architecture, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and system design for scalability.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Angular, and Bootstrap for UI development.
• Proficiency in backend development using.NET (C#), Java EE/Spring Boot, Python or Ruby on Rails for developing robust server-side applications.
• Strong understanding of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL; experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub, SVN (Subversion), TFS (Team Foundation Server), supporting collaborative code management.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices including UML modeling, application design patterns (OOP), unit testing frameworks, and debugging techniques.
• Experience working within Agile environments utilizing tools like Jira or Azure DevOps to manage project workflows efficiently.
• Ability to design RESTful APIs and web services using SOAP/WCF protocols for secure data exchange across distributed systems.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure management on platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable enterprise solutions.

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
