We’re supporting a global professional services organisation in the appointment of a newly created Commercial Finance Manager - Business Cases role sitting at the centre of strategic decision making.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you’ll help evaluate strategic initiatives, transformation programmes and growth investments across the business. The role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy and operations, providing robust commercial analysis, business case evaluation and performance insight to support executive decision making.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified finance professional looking to move beyond traditional FP&A and play a key role in shaping how a complex international business allocates resources, prioritises opportunities and measures success.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the development and review of business cases for strategic projects and transformation initiatives.

• Building financial models, scenario analysis and investment appraisals to support decision making.

• Challenging assumptions and identifying key commercial risks, opportunities and value drivers.

• Supporting the prioritisation of competing initiatives and resource allocation decisions.

• Working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Technology and Strategy.

• Monitoring performance against approved business cases and tracking delivery of expected benefits.

• Improving planning processes, governance frameworks and decision-support tools.

What we’re looking for:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.

• Experience within commercial finance, strategic finance

• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.

• Experience developing business cases and providing decision support to senior stakeholders.

• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.

• Exposure to transformation, strategic projects or performance improvement initiatives would be beneficial.
