Civil Design Engineer

Raptor Civil Engineering, LLC, a Colorado Civil Engineering business, is excited to announce a new employment opportunity for a Design Engineer (1-3 years experience). This position is an in-person position in our Denver Office.

Job Description:

Raptor is seeking a Civil Engineer w/ 1-3 years of land development civil engineering experience to perform preparation of design and construction drawings as well as writing technical reports. Additionally, project engineer will be responsible for initial quality control reviews and client communication on project’s assigned to them. This job is full-time.

The ideal candidate shall have professional experience and knowledge regarding land development engineering tasks on Commercial and Residential projects. Experience in Denver areas is preferred but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from A.B.E.T. Accredited school
• Beginner-Intermediate level Civil3D skills
• 1-3 years of land development experience
• Strong communication skills through e-mail and on phone calls
• Transportation engineering experience
• Wastewater engineering experience
• Detention and water quality design experience
• Drainage report experience
• Grading Experience
• Skills in Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
• Eagerness to think both creatively and technically
• Detail-orientated
• Remain agile and solutions-oriented in high pressure situations

Physical Requirements:

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
