Job Description

Principal Payment Product Marketing & Readiness Manager

The Principal Payment Product Marketing & Readiness Manager is responsible for crafting compelling narratives, Go-to-Market (GTM) launches, and high-impact content that drive adoption for consumer and commercial issuing solutions. This individual brings a strong marketing and storytelling background to translate complex products into engaging campaigns, clear positioning, and digestible enablement materials. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will act as a creative engine—helping both internal teams and external audiences (issuers, merchants, digital enablers) understand the value, vision, and practical application of our payment solutions in a fast-paced global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Storytelling & Positioning: Translate complex features into clear, benefit-driven product narratives and positioning frameworks that resonate across different audience segments.
  • Multi-Channel Content Creation: Design and deliver a wide range of creative content—including marketing collateral, digital assets, product pitch decks, case studies, launch kits, and educational guides for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Product Education & Enablement Support: Collaboratively support Product Knowledge Managers—who own product training and enablement—by providing the core messaging, narrative frameworks, and campaign content needed for them to build engaging training materials and client-facing toolkits.
  • Market Insights & Messaging: Stay attuned to market developments, emerging themes, and customer feedback to continually refine product messaging, positioning, and promotional strategies.
  • Launch Execution: Lead the promotional, narrative, and content launch readiness for new products, feature releases, and technical enhancements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in product marketing, content strategy, brand marketing, copywriting, marketing communications or creative campaign execution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in B2B product marketing, brand storytelling, content creation, or digital marketing
  • Demonstrated track record of conceptualizing and executing end-to-end product launches or marketing campaigns
  • Experience in the payments, fintech, or financial services industry
  • Strong portfolio showcasing compelling writing, content development, pitch decks, and audience-focused campaign materials
  • Ability to distill intricate concepts into simple, high-impact storytelling
  • Experience working alongside product or technical teams to translate technical specs into consumer-facing value propositions
