Tech Lead / Fullstack Developer

Job Title: 2 X Tech Lead / Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer

Location: Fully Remote (Europe) UK hours

Contract: 6+ Months

Rate: 300-450 Euros PD DOE

My client is seeking a Tech Lead / Full Stack JavaScript Developer to drive the development of scalable, high-performance digital products. You’ll take technical ownership across the stack — from architecture and design to deployment working on a cutting edge retail Fintech project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of full-stack applications using JavaScript / TypeScript , React , and Node.js .
• Own technical decisions around architecture, scalability, and performance.
• Build robust APIs (REST/GraphQL) and ensure clean integration with front-end systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and DevOps to deliver elegant, user-centric solutions.
• Establish and uphold engineering standards: code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and documentation .

Key Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
• AI Experience - setting up agents on Claude
• Strong proficiency in React.js / Next.js and Node.js (Express or NestJS) .
• Solid understanding of AWS , Docker , and modern CI/CD pipelines .
• Experienced with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with microservices or serverless architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
