Optomi, in partnership with our premier client in the hospitality industry, is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in CI/CD automation, cloud-native deployments, and containerized application environments. This role will focus heavily on deployment orchestration, pipeline optimization, infrastructure collaboration, and supporting scalable application delivery processes within AWS and Kubernetes environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Harness, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps tooling, with a strong emphasis on automation, operational efficiency, and deployment reliability.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience using Harness to deploy applications in AWS/EKS environments
• Experience with Bash or Unix shell scripting
• Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
• Familiarity with Kafka streaming and event-driven platforms
• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
• Experience supporting cloud-native environments within AWS
• Experience troubleshooting deployment, infrastructure, and application issues
• Strong scripting and automation knowledge
• Ability to work effectively within Agile engineering environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications related to AWS or Azure
• Exposure to enterprise-scale DevOps or platform engineering environments
• Experience supporting high-availability or customer-facing platforms

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Contribute to automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and platform stability
• Deploy and support applications within AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) environments
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes technologies
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and engineering teams to improve deployment reliability and scalability
• Support event-driven architectures and real-time platform integrations

Team & Environment

This role works closely with enterprise DevOps and infrastructure teams and requires strong collaboration and communication skills. The environment is highly collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on continuous improvement and automation best practices.
