Litigation Assistant

Civil litigation firm specializing in Automotive Warranty defense is offering a Litigation/Legal assistant position (Remote/Work From Home). The right person will be a fast learner, a self-starter, and have excellent organization and communications skills. Our firm prides itself on a collaborative team environment where we care about the work that we do and always deliver for our clients. Our clients include major automotive manufacturers.

Any of the following are a plus (but are not requirements) for a candidate:

· Experience of at minimum 2 years is required working as a legal secretary/legal assistant

· Able to file using One Legal, comfortable using the Federal CM/ ECF system

· Writing skills, attention to detail, ability to Format Documents correctly

· Civil Litigation Experience

Knowledge of Microsoft (outlook, word, excel, etc.) is absolutely required. Good written and communication skills are also required (we have very high-end clients).

Job Duties include:

• Calendaring

• Preparing shells for Motions, Discovery, Pleadings, Etc.

• Scheduling Motions

• Filing in State Court and Federal

• Scheduling Depositions with our clients

• Setting up Court Calls

• Help attorney’s and other Staff as needed

This position will be a home/remote work position, with the option of working from our beautiful office in the Brentwood area.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
