Azure AI & Integration Developer (AI-102 / AZ-204) – Federal Modernization – Remote

Tech Forge Group is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that supports federal agencies through prime contractor partners. We’re building a pipeline of Azure developers for an upcoming Department of Veterans Affairs digital modernization program focused on document-heavy case processing, workflow automation and responsible AI. You’ll design and build Azure solutions that take in, classify and route large volumes of documents. You’ll connect them to enterprise systems and apply AI guardrails that meet federal security standards. This position depends on contract award. We’re interviewing now so qualified candidates can be included in our proposal. What you’ll do

• Build document-processing pipelines with Azure AI Document Intelligence (prebuilt and custom models for forms, evidence and correspondence)
• Implement Azure AI Content Safety and responsible-AI guardrails for AI-assisted drafting and summarization
• Design storage, metadata, versioning and retrieval patterns in Azure Blob Storage
• Build integrations and workflows with Azure Logic Apps (Standard), Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid and API Management
• Secure solutions with Managed Identity, Key Vault, private endpoints and RBAC
• Work inside Azure DevOps pipelines and federal change-control processes

Required

• 4+ years of hands-on Azure development (C#/.NET or Python)
• Production experience with at least two of: Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer), Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus/Event Grid
• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
• Ability to pass a VA background investigation (Public Trust). U.S. citizenship is generally required.

Preferred

• Both AI-102 and AZ-204 Certifications
• Azure OpenAI / AI Foundry, Content Safety, Prompt Shields, retrieval-based AI (RAG)
• Azure Government experience; FedRAMP or ATO environments
• Federal case-management, claims, or appeals modernization experience
• Active or prior Public Trust (Tier 2/4), DoD clearance, or IRS MBI

Pay: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
