Principal Software Engineer - SoC, Firmware & System Validation

We’re a global technology leader building the next generation of cloud and data center infrastructure. We’re looking for a Principal Software Engineer who can lead a team and stay hands-on in solving complex system-level challenges.

What you’ll own:

🔹 Leading and developing a team of software engineers, with technical direction, coaching, and career growth

🔹 System validation and productisation, including validation plans, quality criteria, and product readiness

🔹 Scalable test infrastructure, CI, regression capabilities, and quality metrics

🔹 Cross-site collaboration to resolve complex issues across pre-silicon and silicon environments

You’re a great fit if you have:

✅ Strong experience testing complex system software (SoC, firmware, platform software, or system-level validation)

✅ Proven people leadership combined with hands-on technical depth

✅ Solid knowledge of validation methodologies, automated testing, and CI

✅ Excellent problem-solving and cross-team communication skills

Good to have:

Server-class SoC exposure (RAS, power management, PCIe, CXL, memory, virtualization), Linux kernel, TF-A, UEFI EDK II, OpenBMC, KVM, and experience with hardware test environments or CI infrastructure
