Lead Software Engineer

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead our technical team and drive the

development of our product across web and mobile platforms. This role will be crucial in shaping

our engineering culture, technical strategy, and product development processes, including the

implementation of microservices architecture and multi-cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and

continuous improvement

• Collaborate with leadership and business teams to translate product requirements into

technical specifications for web and mobile applications

• Architect and oversee the development of scalable, performant, and secure web and

mobile applications

• Design and implement microservices architecture to support our growing platform

• Make key technical decisions and guide the team in implementing best practices across

various technologies and platforms

• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for multiple concurrent projects

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential application to our

product ecosystem

• Contribute to high-level product strategy and roadmap planning, including expansion into

mobile platforms

• Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through code reviews and establishing

development standards

• Oversee the implementation and optimization of multi-cloud deployments (AWS, Google

Cloud, etc.)

• Drive the adoption of DevOps practices and tools to improve deployment efficiency and

reliability

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a team lead or

manager role

• Strong expertise in MERN stack, React, Node, Next TypeScript, Tailwind CSS etc

• Experience with mobile app development (iOS and Android) using React Native, Swift, or

Kotlin

• Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with various programming languages and ability to guide teams working with

different tech stacks

• Experience with state management, API integration, and modern front-end development

practices

• Understanding of financial technology, equity management, or related domains is a plus

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions

• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Track record of successfully delivering complex web and mobile applications at scale

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Desired Skills

• Experience with GraphQL and REST API design

• Knowledge of serverless architectures and FaaS (Function as a Service) platforms

• Familiarity with big data processing and analytics tools

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools in production environments

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in fintech
