ABOUT US

Trained by Jimbo is 1:1 online coaching for gay men who want to lose fat, build muscle, and feel confident in their body. Most of our clients tried apps and generic plans before they found us. They stay because they have a coach who knows them and checks in on them. We’re growing, and we need a coach to take on 60+ clients.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re the coach clients look forward to hearing from. You’re upbeat, you get excited about client wins, and you’d rather over-communicate than leave someone waiting. You take feedback well and give it straight.

OUR COACHING VALUES

• Transparency: We tell you who you’re working with, how the process works, no gatekeeping, no bait and switches, you know exactly what’s going on. There’s no one communicating on the coaches behalf, etc.
• Teach, not just tell: Every client should understand why we’re doing what we’re doing, and why it works.
• Clear communication: Unlike others, We don’t leave you on read for days. You can expect a quick response. At the very least, by the end of the day.
• ZERO Judgement: If you want to talk more about your personal life, that’s okay. you should never feel like you’re walking on eggshells talking to me or your coach.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Run client check-ins, adjust workouts and nutrition, and track progress in Trainerize

• Reply to client messages within 2 hours, 9am-6pm Eastern

• Review weekly check-in videos and give direct feedback

• Flag plateaus, adherence problems, or anything outside your scope to the lead coach, with your own read on what’s going on

• Follow up on failed payments and keep payment plans current

• Renew clients into continuation when they finish their program. This is part of the job and part of your pay.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AT 90 DAYS

• Client messages answered within 2 hours during your shift

• Every weekly check-in reviewed within 24 hours

• No failed payment left open longer than 7 days

REQUIREMENTS

• You’ve coached real clients 1:1, not just yourself

• Fast internet, a laptop that runs web apps without lagging, a good webcam, and a clean, well-lit setup for calls

• Available 9am-6pm Eastern, Monday to Friday

• Put a random fruit emoji before your first name question of this application so we know you read everything and actually pay attention to detail.

HOURS AND PAY

• Full time, 9am-6pm Eastern, Monday to Friday

• Base pay up to $2,500/month depending on experience

• 3-10% bonus on client program costs and renewal revenue after a client’s first program ends, no cap

• Estimated earnings is $54k/year

WHERE THIS ROLE GOES

Top coaches move into Lead Coach within 12 months, managing other coaches and a bigger client book.

We reply to every application within 48 hours.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
