Engineer - Backend Developer ( Software )

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the primary architect for our cloud-native data solutions, high-performance APIs, and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate is an expert in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem, capable of building and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient backend systems from the ground up.
• Design & Implement: Create and manage complex database schemas using AWS-native services like Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL), DynamoDB, and Aurora.
• Performing advanced query optimization, indexing, and data modeling to ensure low-latency data retrieval.
• Implementing automated backups, disaster recovery strategies, and security protocols (encryption at rest/transit).
• Designing and building scalable RESTful or GraphQL APIs that serve as the backbone for web and mobile applications.
• Seamlessly integrate third-party services and internal microservices using AWS API Gateway.
• Maintain clear, concise API documentation (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI) for frontend and mobile teams.
• Manage and optimize server environments using AWS EC2, Lambda (Server less), or ECS/Fargate (Containers).
• Use tools like Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation to automate the provisioning of cloud resources.
• Set up and monitor system health using Cloud Watch, ensuring 99.9% uptime and proactive scaling.

Ideal Candidate

• BE / B. Tech in Computer Science / M. Tech in Computer Science.
• Overall 3 to 5 years in backend software engineering with a proven track record of shipping production-grade code.
• Experience to lead the development of our server-side ecosystem. I
• Deep expertise in AWS services, specifically RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, S3, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in at least one major backend language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go, or Java).
• Strong understanding of VPC, Subnets, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB), and Security Groups.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline).
• Solid understanding of IAM roles, OAuth2, and JWT authentication.
• Relevant AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect).
• Experience with containerization (Docker & Kubernetes).
