Job Description
I’m a 28-year-old female Managing Director working in Aircraft Trading and running multiple businesses. I travel, work from home, love dogs, drink a lot of coffee and usually have about 15 different things happening at once.
I’m looking for the person who can help me make sense of all of that.
And honestly, I care much more about finding the right person than finding someone with the perfect CV.
You could be at university looking for experience alongside your studies. You could have just graduated and want an opportunity where you’ll learn a ridiculous amount. Or you could already be an experienced PA or EA and be looking for something more flexible and interesting.
I’m open to all three.
If you’re smart, organised, proactive and we click, I’ll teach you the rest.
I’ll fully train you, you’ll get exposure to aircraft trading and multiple businesses, and there’s genuinely room to grow the position around your strengths.
The working environment is flexible too. I predominantly work from home, so some weeks we’ll work from home, some weeks we’ll find a co-working space and grab a coffee, and other weeks may involve meetings, events or travel.
There isn’t really a “typical day”, which is part of the fun. Ultimately, I want to find the right person, invest in them and hopefully have them working alongside me for years rather than months.
And yes, liking dogs will help enormously.
This is a part-time role of approximately 8–16 hours per week, and I don’t expect everything below to need doing every week. The role will flex depending on what’s going on and what I need the most help with at the time.
No two weeks will look exactly the same, but the role will include things like:
- Keeping me organised: managing my diary, appointments, meetings and personal commitments, and making sure I know where I need to be and when.
- Inbox and follow-ups: helping keep on top of emails, reminding me who I need to reply to, chasing outstanding items and making sure things don’t get forgotten.
- Travel: booking flights, hotels and transport, building itineraries and helping organise international business trips and aviation conferences.
- Aircraft trading support: helping me keep track of live opportunities, contacts, documents, meetings and follow-ups. You don’t need to know anything about aircraft when you start. I’ll teach you.
- Business admin: spreadsheets, presentations, document preparation, data entry, filing and keeping records and information organised.
- Expenses and accounts admin: keeping receipts and expenses organised, basic QuickBooks entries, invoices and helping me make sure paperwork reaches the right people.
- Meetings: arranging calls and meetings, preparing anything I need beforehand and keeping track of what needs to happen afterwards.
- My other businesses: helping with general admin and whatever projects happen to be going on at the time.
- Personal admin: appointments, reservations, returns, deliveries, research, bookings and the random life-admin jobs that somehow take up far too much time.
- Events and networking: helping me organise dinners, meetings, industry conferences and other events.
- Research: whether that’s finding a hotel, researching a company, comparing options or finding the answer to something I don’t have time to investigate myself.
- Keeping me accountable: if I’ve said I’m going to do something, I need someone who is comfortable reminding me that I still haven’t done it!
- Problem-solving: sometimes I’ll simply give you something and say, “Can you sort this?”
