The work behind a useful product page

Customers need clear information before they buy: dimensions, materials, available colors, and what comes in the box. You’ll help make sure those details are complete and consistent across our online store.

Oakmere Home Goods sells home storage products and everyday household accessories. Working with our merchandising coordinator, you’ll prepare new listings and maintain existing ones using approved supplier information.

Your work will include:

• Entering product descriptions, specifications, and approved prices.
• Checking product records against supplier documents.
• Uploading supplied images and matching them to the correct products.
• Organizing categories, tags, and product variations.
• Reviewing listings for missing information, formatting errors, and duplicate entries.
• Recording discrepancies and requesting clarification before publishing changes.
• Maintaining a shared tracker of completed updates and outstanding questions.

You won’t be responsible for setting prices, making purchasing decisions, or creating unsupported product claims.

Bring accuracy and curiosity

You should have at least one year of experience in administrative support, product data entry, retail operations, or e-commerce.

We’re looking for someone who can work confidently with spreadsheets, write clear English, and follow a documented process while noticing when information doesn’t make sense. Experience with Shopify or another content management system is helpful but not required.

A college degree is not required. We provide paid training on our catalog standards and software.

A supported remote role

You’ll report to the merchandising coordinator and have regular opportunities to review questions and priorities.

We provide a company laptop, required software, ten days of annual paid time off, and company-observed paid holidays. All required training is paid. Compensation is hourly, with no commission component.

This position is open to Ohio residents. No travel or office attendance is required. Reliable internet access is necessary.
