Job Description
A training session starts tomorrow. The instructor needs the attendance list, two participants haven’t received their access links, and a client has requested a schedule change.
Your job is to keep these details moving so instructors can teach and participants can join their sessions prepared.
Northline Learning organizes live online workshops in business writing, customer service, and spreadsheet skills. We’re hiring a Training Operations Assistant to coordinate the practical details behind those workshops.
A typical week
You’ll review upcoming sessions, check registrations, and send joining instructions. Before each workshop, you’ll confirm that the instructor has the correct materials and participant information.
After sessions, you’ll update attendance records, distribute feedback forms, and respond to questions about certificates or future dates. When schedules change, you’ll update the calendar and make sure everyone affected receives the correct information.
You’ll also help maintain our training materials library and flag missing or outdated documents. Questions about course content go to the instructor; pricing exceptions and refund requests go to the operations manager.
The arrangement
Pay - $22–$26 per hour, based on relevant experience;
Employment - Part-time employee position;
Hours - Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Central Time;
Location - Fully remote; candidates must reside in Texas;
Travel - None;

The role provides 20 paid working hours per week. There are no sales targets or commission payments. Additional hours require prior approval and are paid at the applicable rate.
You could be a good fit if…
You have at least one year of experience in administration, scheduling, customer support, or program coordination. You write clear emails, notice conflicting dates, and follow up without needing repeated reminders.
You should be comfortable using spreadsheets, shared calendars, and video meeting software. Experience with a learning management system is welcome, but we can teach you our tools. A degree or teaching background is not required.
You’ll need a reliable internet connection and a workspace suitable for occasional participant calls. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.
