Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Hybrid: Onsite Monday-Thursday and can work remotely from home on Fridays)

Role Overview

The focus of this role is the research and development of performance-based footwear products, from initial concept to retail launch, to meet the needs of accounts and consumers. The position involves generating new ideas and developing product concepts consistent with the brand’s vision, collaborating with product creation teams across various business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new ways of thinking about performance-based products to create growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
• Develop ideas for new products by collaborating with product creation teams on the genesis of new concepts.
• Define protocols and establish the scope of testing required to prove and validate a concept.
• Develop insights that inform advanced product concepts through the use of new technologies or construction processes.
• Deliver proof of concept by turning new product visions into reality and engineering prototypes.
• Lead innovation projects, working with multi-disciplinary teams including product creation, manufacturing, and third-party vendors.
• Meet complex challenges with imaginative approaches supported by feasible solutions.
• Draft reports and present results and market concepts at the functional department level.
• Communicate knowledge and best practices to assist in the transition of technology to product.

Required Qualifications Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of directly relevant work experience is required.
