Hiring: Fashion Designer – Sestra

Location: Fort, Mumbai

Work Mode: Monday–Friday in office Saturday work from home

Experience: Junior to Mid-Level

About the Role

Sestra is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to manage garment design, print development, production, and inventory for the brand.

Key Responsibilities

* Design garments in line with the brand’s aesthetic and guidelines, while contributing to product development and expanding the brand’s collections.

* Develop original prints and patterns for new collections.

* Research fashion trends, fabrics, prints, and silhouettes to identify new opportunities and forecast trends.

* Manage end-to-end production, including sourcing manufacturers, coordinating with vendors, and managing trims, sampling, and quality checks.

* Monitor inventory and sales, plan stock replenishments, and coordinate timely production.

* Prepare technical packs, measurement charts, and production specifications.

* Use relevant design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other fashion design tools.

Requirements

* 1–4 years of experience in fashion or apparel design.

* Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, prints, and production processes.

* Proficiency in relevant design software.

* Strong creative, organisational, and vendor-management skills.

* Ability to take ownership of the design-to-production process.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
