About the Role

V Group Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to support the development and maintenance of web applications for the Congressional Budget Office. The role requires experience with Python, ReactJS, and PostgreSQL, with an emphasis on building secure, reliable, and maintainable applications. You will work collaboratively with project teams and participate in Agile development practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications supporting the Congressional Budget Office.
• Build application features using Python and ReactJS.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases to support application functionality and data management.
• Develop secure, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to plan, develop, test, and maintain application features.
• Participate in Agile development activities and contribute to ongoing project delivery.
• Support application maintenance and address technical issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python development.
• Experience developing web applications using ReactJS.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
• Ability to develop secure and maintainable software solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an Agile development environment.

Location and Work Arrangement

The contract is for five years. Remote work is preferred, although onsite support may be required in Washington, DC.
