Architectural Design / Building Design Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Design / Building Design Consultant to develop architectural concepts, prepare building designs, and provide professional design solutions for construction projects. The ideal candidate will balance functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with clients, engineers, and project teams to deliver high-quality building designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and building designs based on project requirements.
• Prepare architectural drawings, design presentations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, M&E consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with building regulations, planning requirements, and relevant industry standards.
• Advise clients on design options, space planning, materials, and construction feasibility.
• Review design revisions and provide technical solutions to address project challenges.
• Monitor design progress and support project teams throughout the design and construction stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in architectural design, building consultancy, or construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, design principles, construction materials, and space planning.
• Excellent design, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional architectural registration or relevant certifications will be an advantage.
