About The Role We are seeking a skilled Angular Developer to join our client’s dynamic software development team on a contractual basis. This role is initially set for three months, outside IR35, with options for hybrid or fully remote work arrangements. The successful candidate will play a critical part in developing a sophisticated analytics application that supports vital decision-making processes by harnessing intelligence related to human activities worldwide. The project is high-priority and urgent, requiring a proactive individual who can quickly adapt to new tools and contribute effectively from day one.

The primary focus will be on front-end development, creating maintainable, accessible, and responsive Angular interfaces that integrate seamlessly with the company’s proprietary backend services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a meaningful project that leverages technology for social good, making a tangible impact on global analytics and insights. There is a strong likelihood of extension beyond the initial contract, providing potential long-term engagement for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Angular and TypeScript in a production environment, demonstrating proficiency in building reusable components, routing, forms, dependency injection, and state management.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills, with a focus on creating responsive layouts and adhering to web accessibility standards to ensure inclusivity and usability across devices and user groups.
• Experience in integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs, including handling authentication, authorization, error management, and asynchronous data flows securely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for unit, component, and end-to-end testing, coupled with best practices in code review, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills, capable of diagnosing browser or performance issues and understanding frontend security considerations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, managing priorities and delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Angular interfaces that are scalable, accessible, and responsive, ensuring consistency across the application.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to translate requirements into functional features.
• Implement and optimize REST API integrations, ensuring secure data handling and efficient performance.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to maintaining coding standards, and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Diagnose and resolve live browser or performance issues promptly, providing solutions that enhance user experience and application stability.
• Contribute to documentation, testing, and knowledge sharing within the team to foster best practices and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Angular and front-end technologies, applying new techniques to improve the application’s functionality and performance.
