Position Lead /Architect Azure DevOps Engineer Location FULLY REMOTE Duration- 12+ MONTHS Interview: 2 Rounds (Onsite 2nd Round IV at location closest to candidate) Job Description Required Qualifications 10+ years of overall IT / software engineering experience, with significant experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering. 5+ years of deep hands-on Azure DevOps experience.

• Proven experience serving as a Senior DevOps Architect, Azure DevOps Architect, Platform Architect, or Lead DevOps Engineer.
• Demonstrated experience leading an organization through a transition from manual software delivery processes to automated CI/CD.

• Advanced experience with:

• Azure DevOps

• Azure Pipelines
• YAML pipelines
• Azure Boards
• Azure Repos / Git
• CI/CD architecture
• Build and release automation

• Branching and source-control strategies

• Strong experience designing enterprise-level reusable pipeline frameworks and templates.
• Experience integrating automated testing, code-quality scanning, security scanning, and approval workflows into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and deployment governance.
• Experience with Azure cloud environments and deploying applications or infrastructure into Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with scripting and automation using technologies such as PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, or Python.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, application deployment, networking, identity, security, and environment management concepts.
• Experience working across multiple development teams and establishing organization-wide technical standards.
• Ability to communicate architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx, Veracode, or similar code-quality/security tools.
• Experience with Azure Key Vault and secrets-management strategies.
• Experience implementing GitOps or modern platform-engineering practices.
• Microsoft Azure or Azure DevOps certifications.
• Previous experience leading a DevOps transformation within a large enterprise, consulting, government, or public-sector environment.
