Known worldwide as the leading name in luxury tableware design and rentals, we curate exquisite linens, tableware, cutlery and glassware for exceptional weddings and events. Our events range from intimate gatherings of 20 guests to landmark celebrations of up to 1,500.

The Role

As Events & Rentals Senior Manager, you will work closely with the Rentals Director to make sure every rental event is delivered smoothly and to the highest standard. The role combines leadership, operations, client relationships and creative direction.

You will help the Rentals Director lead a team of Coordinators and Assistants. You will also oversee bookings, manage key client accounts, lead rentals design and collateral, and use rental data to grow revenue across the rentals business.

You will keep the day-to-day workflow running, coordinate bookings and logistics, and be a key point of contact for our clients. Your work will help make sure each event runs seamlessly, from first planning to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations: Support the Rentals Director in managing daily operations, including rental enquiries, stock management, stock usage and buying capacity.
• Team leadership: Manage, develop and train members of the rentals team along side the Rentals Director
• Client relationships: Look after key clients from first enquiry through to post-event follow-up, keeping communication clear and service exceptional.
• Account management: Build lasting relationships with caterers, agents, partner companies, high-net-worth individuals and private clients. Spot opportunities for repeat bookings and grow revenue from existing accounts.
• Business development: Work with the Rentals Director to win new business and find new revenue streams within the industry. Drive new revenue to help encourage the team to meet financial team revenue targets.
• Creative direction: Bring a creative eye to tablescape design, matching each client’s vision and lifting the look of every event. Use stock usage reports to build tailored packages for key clients and caterers that keep stock moving and boost demand for under-used items.
• Proposals and administration: Oversee client proposals, invoicing and administration at management level. Suggest improvements to keep the client experience exceptional and our offering competitive.
• Stock planning: Work with the Rentals Director and Procurement Director to spot trends and stock needs for the coming year’s purchasing.
• Problem-solving: Anticipate issues and respond quickly and calmly to last-minute changes.

About You

• 5+ years’ experience in events, with a real passion for the industry and strong relationships with planners, agents, caterers and clients
• A confident leader who motivates and engages a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first approach
• Highly organised, with sharp attention to detail and the ability to prioritise well
• Proactive and resourceful, with a hands-on approach to solving problems
• A creative eye for design and presentation
• Confident with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• A team player with a strong work ethic
