Brokerage Assistant

The Import-Export Brokerage Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and operational support in managing import and export shipments, ensuring the timely preparation, checking, and submission of shipping documents and customs clearance requirements. The role involves coordinating with customs brokers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal departments to facilitate smooth shipment processing and ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations and port requirements.

The position also assists in managing DHL and DSV brokers by coordinating truck availability, monitoring shipment schedules, and ensuring compliance with port requirements for timely cargo movement and release. Responsibilities include tracking shipment status, preparing and maintaining import-export documentation, following up on customs clearances, coordinating transportation arrangements, and addressing shipment-related concerns to support efficient logistics operations and minimize delays.
