Job Description
An employer is seeking a skilled Python/Django Software Engineer to contribute to a central government program.
The Role
- Design, build, and maintain web applications and APIs using Python and Django
- Develop and deploy services on AWS
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and live environments
What You’ll Need
- Strong commercial experience with Python and Django
- Hands-on AWS experience with services like EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, or ECS
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
