E-commerce Marketing Assistant

Job Summary:
We’re ready to hire a versatile Marketing Specialist to help launch and grow our online business. You’ll oversee affiliate marketing, contact suppliers, set up our website and backend systems, and build out our email marketing in Klaviyo, all while designing graphics and helping customers along the way. The strongest applicants are resourceful, hands-on, and happy to wear many hats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and run our affiliate marketing program, including recruiting, onboarding, and supporting affiliates
• Contact suppliers to source products, negotiate terms, and build strong vendor relationships
• Configure the backend of our online store, including products, settings, and integrations
• Help launch our new website, including building pages, uploading content, and testing
• Create marketing graphics, banners, and visual assets in line with our brand
• Respond to customer service inquiries by email and chat promptly and warmly
• Set up and run Klaviyo, including email flows, campaigns, and list segmentation
• Measure marketing performance and suggest improvements to boost sales and engagement

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in digital or e-commerce marketing
• Hands-on experience setting up and managing Klaviyo (flows, campaigns, segments)
• Experience with affiliate marketing or partnership programs
• Experience with website and backend setup on e-commerce or CMS platforms
• Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or similar
• Strong written English and customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Conscientious, organized, and self-driven

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with supplier sourcing or vendor negotiation
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce
• Knowledge of email marketing best practices and A/B testing
• Basic understanding of SEO and marketing analytics
• Capable of running several projects in tandem
