Job Description
Weave is the all-in-one communication and engagement platform for healthcare practices. Our tools elevate the patient experience and streamline operations, so practice teams can focus on what matters most: patient care. Because healthcare staff rely on Weave every second of their workday, our products demand exceptional craft, speed, and reliability.
We hire people who love people. We’re building an inclusive culture where unique perspectives are celebrated, helping us solve bigger problems and deliver better work together.
About The Role And Team As a Product Design Manager at Weave, you will guide and mentor a team of product designers while operating as an equal strategic partner alongside Product and Engineering collaborators.
We look for managers who drive team excellence by growing designers into influential thought partners, while thoughtfully shaping experience vision, advocating for validated user needs, and driving overall product direction. You will serve as the bridge that unites design, product, and engineering to build cohesive, human-centred experiences, giving your team the room to ship the most meaningful work of their careers.
We operate as a lean, agile team—which means high visibility, broad ownership, and room for significant organizational impact. We are looking for someone who stays curious, cares deeply, and is energized by the opportunity to shape both our product and our design culture as we scale.

- Design quality and direction: Direct design reviews focusing on both craft quality and strategic direction, ensuring the team creates high-quality output aligned with experience vision and quality standards.
- People development: Inspire, motivate, and support designers across experience levels to do the best work of their careers, helping them grow their craft, judgment, and impact across Weave. Ensure alignment of employee motivations and performance with organizational outcomes through performance management.
- Hiring and retention: Hire world-class designers and create conditions for team success, building a team capable of strategic partnership.
- Strategic research: Identify strategic user research initiatives that span multiple groups and organize research efforts that validate opportunities and re-examine assumptions.
