Duties

• Develop and articulate a compelling product strategy that aligns with overall business objectives and market trends.
• Lead cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, data science, and marketing to execute strategic initiatives effectively.
• Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise-level solutions utilizing cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability and security.
• Drive innovation through the integration of emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics into product offerings.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate partnerships to enhance product capabilities and infrastructure.
• Establish governance frameworks for IT infrastructure security, including network security, system administration, firewall management, and disaster recovery planning.
• Promote a data-driven decision-making culture by leveraging SQL, Python, R, and other analytics tools for insights that inform strategic directions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as PCI DSS for payment security, NIST standards for cybersecurity, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Lead the development of technical architecture encompassing APIs, microservices (e.g., React Express), enterprise solutions (ERP systems), and system design principles.
• Oversee project management activities related to software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, change management processes, and Agile methodologies.
• Foster a high-performance environment by managing software engineering teams focused on application development using technologies like JavaScript, Java, C#,.NET, Node.js, PHP, React, Angular, HTML/CSS.
• Drive strategic initiatives around business continuity planning, risk management, vendor management, and IT governance to ensure operational resilience.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to executive leadership and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.

Experience

• Proven track record in executive leadership roles within technology-driven organizations with extensive experience managing software development teams and enterprise solutions implementation.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Azure, VMware vSphere environments; virtualization; SAN storage; network infrastructure; VPNs; MPLS networks; DNS; WAN/LAN configurations; server management; firewall configuration; Active Directory; Microsoft Exchange; Microsoft SQL Server; Oracle databases; MongoDB; Help Desk support.
• Strong background in system administration including virtualization (vSphere), network security protocols (firewall management), disaster recovery planning aligned with NIST standards.
• Extensive project management experience in technology environments utilizing Agile methodologies; familiar with SDLC processes from inception through deployment.
• Skilled in managing cross-functional teams across software engineering (including AI/ML applications), system architecture design, enterprise solutions deployment, vendor negotiations, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Expertise in information security practices such as PCI compliance for payment systems and overall network security strategies.
• Deep understanding of APIs integration (RESTful APIs), ETL processes for data warehousing solutions using tools like Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases; experience with data analysis using SQL or Python is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing senior-level teams in fast-paced environments while fostering collaboration across departments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear strategic insights for executive stakeholders.
