Vantage Technology Consulting Group is seeking candidates for a full-time position to serve as project coordinator on our Design and Engineering team. This is an entry-level role, with placement at the Designer or Engineer level based on experience. We are looking for an applicant who has an interest in, and aptitude for, the following:
- Coordinating deliverables, RFI responses, submittals, and on-site work for projects in construction
- Keeping project teams organized, informed, and on schedule
- Clear and responsive communication with clients, architects, and contractors

What You Will Do
As a project coordinator at Vantage, you’ll play a key role in keeping our projects organized and moving. Most of your work will support IT, AV, and security projects in construction and will be performed remotely, with occasional support for design efforts. You will work with Project Leaders, Project Managers, clients, architects, and contractors to deliver the high-quality work we are known for, using the processes, standards, and budgets established by Vantage for each project. In particular, you will:
- Coordinate project deliverables for healthcare, higher education, corporate, and other market sectors, helping project teams meet schedules and milestones.
- Coordinate RFI responses and submittal reviews during construction, from receipt through timely return to the client.
- Schedule and coordinate on-site work, including site visits, observations, punch walks, and closeout activities.
- Serve as a day-to-day logistical point of contact for clients, architects, and construction teams, alongside the Project Leader and Project Manager.
- Schedule and attend client, design team, and construction coordination meetings, and document decisions and action items.
- Organize and maintain project documentation and records consistent with firm standards.
- Support project scheduling, reporting, and budget tracking.
- Support design efforts as needed, assisting with drawings, markups, and documentation under the direction of more senior staff.
- Build relationships with clients, architects, and contractors through project work.
- Attend firm-sponsored events and build awareness of Vantage’s clients, industry partners, and market sectors.
- Pursue relevant certifications and training to build project management and technical knowledge.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, enjoys keeping people and projects on track, and is excited to grow with a firm that’s shaping the future of how people interact with technology in the built environment.
