About the role
We’re building a centralised operations software platform for the environmental services sector — a single system that brings together
the scheduling, tracking, compliance and reporting that these organisations rely on every day. Design sits at the heart of this: our goal is
to turn complex, operationally heavy workflows into an experience that feels clear and effortless for the people using it.
We’re looking for a Junior UX Designer to join and work directly under our Senior UX/UI Designer. This is a hands-on role for someone
early in their design career who wants to learn fast, contribute to real product work from day one, and grow within a supportive team.
You’ll take direction from the Senior Designer, own well-defined pieces of work, and steadily take on more responsibility as your skills
develop.
You don’t need years of experience — you need a good eye, genuine curiosity about how people use software, and the willingness to
learn.
What you’ll do
Support the Senior UX/UI Designer across the full design process, from early research through to polished, developer-ready designs.
Produce wireframes, user flows, mockups and interactive prototypes for features across the platform.
Help maintain and extend our design system — building and documenting components so our product stays consistent.
Take part in user research: helping prepare sessions, taking notes, and synthesising findings into clear insights.
Iterate on designs based on feedback from the Senior Designer, product managers, developers and users.
Prepare assets and specifications for handoff to the development team.
Get to know the environmental services domain — the users, their day-to-day operations, and the problems the software solves.
