Job Description
Job Role - Senior Staff Software Engineer
Experience - 15+ years
Location - Bengaluru
Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation and integration of complex features across products
- Write high-quality code, set best practices, mentor
- Coordinate technical direction with other Staff Engineers; review architectures
- Present engineering topics internally and externally
- Build complex multi-layer features and tests; improve test framework
- Root-cause difficult issues incl. low-level OS problems; handle escalations
- Partner with Product Management and Architects
Requirements
- 15+ years building large-scale distributed applications in Go or Java
- Big data/analytics platforms (Spark, Kafka, Airflow) on cloud warehouses/lakehouses
- Docker, Kubernetes, Linux; cloud-native design on AWS/Azure/GCP
- Strong programming, design, testing; CI/CD and Agile
- Explain complex architectures to non-technical audiences
Key Skills
Go or Java, system design, big data (Spark, Kafka, Airflow), Snowflake / Databricks / BigQuery / Redshift / OpenSearch / Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, AWS/Azure/GCP, CI/CD, Agile; SQL & data modelling (good to have)
