Technical Product Manager ( Rocketlane)

About the Role

Fivetran and dbt are aligning their business processes and systems ahead of the February 1 transition to a single pipeline. The Business Process & Systems Integration (BPSI) program coordinates this merger work across business and technology teams. We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead the program’s near-term post-sale scope, with a focus on Professional Services, customer onboarding, and expansion pipeline management.

You’ll join an active workstream and quickly get up to speed on decisions, requirements, and delivery already underway. You’ll interview stakeholders, understand current processes and systems, and translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories. You’ll partner with Systems through its agile delivery processes to define, validate, and deliver solutions, primarily across Salesforce and Rocketlane.

For February 1, the working baseline is Fivetran’s current post-sale processes and systems, with only the changes needed to maintain customer continuity. This includes critical onboarding and pricing migration needs. You’ll also use the upcoming post-sales operating model work to inform longer-term process and systems planning.

What You’ll Do

Own product and process requirements for the BPSI post-sale workstream, focusing near-term on Professional Services, customer onboarding, and expansion pipeline management.

Interview stakeholders and users to understand their goals, pain points, and operational needs.

Document current post-sale processes, systems, workflows, and data; identify gaps, dependencies, and decisions needed for February 1 readiness.

Define how expansion opportunities are identified, created, managed, and reported, and the system capabilities needed to support that process.

Translate business and process decisions into prioritized requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.

Partner with Systems through agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement, planning, solution review, testing, and release readiness.

Define and deliver system solutions primarily across Salesforce and Rocketlane, working with engineering and systems teams on integrations, data, testing, rollout, and adoption.

Connect post-sale workflows to related revenue processes, including Opportunity Management and Quote-to-Cash, while clarifying ownership boundaries.

Use current Fivetran processes and systems as the February 1 baseline, focusing on changes needed for customer continuity.

Use the post-sales operating model and customer journey work to inform future process design and a longer-term systems roadmap.

What You’ll Bring

7+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Business Systems, Customer Success Operations, or a related role.

Experience defining and delivering SaaS customer onboarding, Professional Services, or post-sale capabilities.

Experience designing or improving expansion pipeline processes and the systems that support opportunity creation, management, and reporting.

A track record of joining complex or in-flight initiatives, building context quickly, surfacing gaps, and moving work toward delivery.

Strong requirements skills, including the ability to turn business needs and decisions into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

Experience working with Salesforce, integrations, data flows, and technical delivery teams; Rocketlane or similar tools are helpful.

Familiarity with agile product delivery and the ability to partner effectively with systems and engineering teams through implementation.

Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams with competing priorities.

Product judgment to distinguish critical launch requirements from longer-term improvements.
