Job Description

SecurityScorecard is the global leader in cybersecurity ratings, with over 12 million companies continuously rated, operating in 64 countries. Founded in 2013 by security and risk experts Dr. Alex Yampolskiy and Sam Kassoumeh and funded by world-class investors, SecurityScorecard’s patented rating technology is used by over 25,000 organizations for self-monitoring, third-party risk management, board reporting, and cyber insurance underwriting; making all organizations more resilient by allowing them to easily find and fix cybersecurity risks across their digital footprint.

Headquartered in New York City, our culture has been recognized by Inc Magazine as a “Best Workplace,” by Crain’s NY as a “Best Places to Work in NYC,” and as one of the 10 hottest SaaS startups in New York for two years in a row. Most recently, SecurityScorecard was named to Fast Company’s annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2023 and to the Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces in 2023 award recognizing “forward-thinking employers for their unwavering commitment to employee engagement.” SecurityScorecard is proud to be funded by world-class investors including Silver Lake Waterman, Moody’s, Sequoia Capital, GV and Riverwood Capital.

About the Role:

As Product Marketing Manager you will own how SecurityScorecard’s products are positioned, launched, and sold. You will be the bridge between Product, Sales, and the market, turning complex cyber risk capabilities into clear, differentiated stories that win deals. You will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, and Content.

What You Will Do

  • Develop positioning, messaging, and value propositions for our platform, including security ratings, supply chain detection and response, and attack surface and third-party risk capabilities.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches and major releases, from internal readiness through external campaigns.
  • Build sales enablement assets, including battlecards, pitch decks, talk tracks, demo narratives, and objection handling, and train sellers and partners to use them.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and win/loss analysis, and keep competitive positioning current as the market shifts.
  • Conduct buyer, persona, and market research to sharpen differentiation and identify new opportunities.
  • Act as the voice of the market to Product, translating customer, sales, and analyst feedback into roadmap input.
  • Create web, content, and campaign collateral that explains product value to CISOs, security practitioners, procurement leaders, and executives.
  • Brief industry analysts and support analyst evaluations alongside Analyst Relations.
  • Define and report on KPIs such as launch impact, sales-asset adoption, pipeline influenced, and win rate.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 to 7 years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, with a track record of successful launches and sales enablement.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, risk, or enterprise software strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, messaging, and storytelling skills, with the ability to make technical concepts clear and compelling.
  • Strong competitive analysis and market research skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable using data to measure impact and guide decisions.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Marketo, and a sales enablement platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with third-party risk management (TPRM), GRC, or cyber risk quantification markets.
  • Experience working with industry analysts such as Gartner and Forrester.

Benefits:

Specific to each country, we offer a competitive salary, stock options, Health benefits, and unlimited PTO, parental leave, tuition reimbursements, and much more!

The estimated total compensation range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, and may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits.
