Role Overview

We are hiring a Full-Stack Developer with 3+ years of experience to build secure, high-quality web and mobile-backed applications for the financial services sector, using Java on the backend and Angular on the frontend.

You will own features end to end, from Angular screens to Java services and the CI/CD pipelines that ship them. The role suits someone who writes clean, well-tested code and is comfortable with the pace and security standards of financial products.

Key Responsibilities

Development

• Design, build and maintain full-stack features using Java (Spring Boot or similar) on the backend and Angular on the frontend.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal financial systems and third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code that follows agreed coding standards and design patterns.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and working software.

Quality and testing

• Write unit tests with JUnit (Java) and Jasmine/Karma (Angular) for all new and changed code.
• Build and maintain end-to-end tests for Angular applications using Protractor or its successors.
• Take part in code reviews and keep test coverage and code quality high.

CI/CD and delivery

• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, including mobile build pipelines, using Maven or Gradle.
• Automate builds, test runs and deployments to cut manual effort and release risk.
• Support releases and troubleshoot build, deployment and production issues.

Security and compliance

• Apply secure coding practices such as input validation, authentication, authorization and protection of sensitive data.
• Identify and fix security vulnerabilities in line with OWASP guidance and financial-industry requirements.

Collaboration

• Work closely with product owners, QA, designers and other developers in an Agile team.
• Keep technical documentation up to date.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment, ideally in the financial industry or a related field (banking, payments, insurance, fintech).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of clean, maintainable and efficient code.
• Hands-on experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines using Maven or Gradle.
• Proficiency in unit testing with JUnit (Java) and Jasmine/Karma (Angular).
• Exposure to end-to-end testing of Angular applications with Protractor.
• Solid understanding of application security principles and practices.
