Job Summary: Technical Product Manager (Payments/Retail/E-commerce)

• Serve as Technical Product Owner/Product Manager on an Agile/SAFe software delivery team, focusing on payments, order management, e-commerce checkout, or financial transaction systems.
• Leverage prior experience in payments and retail environments to inform product decisions and backlog prioritization.
• Translate business and compliance requirements into detailed features, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria for payment/tender flows.
• Own and manage the product backlog for services in active production, ensuring clear prioritization and transparency.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to refine requirements, discuss APIs, data flows, and system integrations, and make informed scope tradeoffs.
• Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business/compliance stakeholders; act as a bridge between groups.
• Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria and coordinate functional/integration testing across various tender types.
• Take ownership of release readiness for payment-related changes, including monitoring, rollback planning, and go-live communications.
• Support production issue triage for payment incidents, partnering with engineering to address impacts and communicate resolutions.
• Participate in and support all relevant Agile ceremonies (planning, standups, backlog refinement, retrospectives) within the team.
