CoinGate is a Lithuanian fintech company founded in 2014. We specialize in creating innovative payment solutions, making it easy and convenient for businesses to pay and get paid with cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. With over a decade of experience and now a MiCA license, we’ve established ourselves as one of the leading players in our space, yet we’re only getting started.

The role:

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to own the frontend of our core payment products: the checkout and payment page, the embeddable checkout merchants put on their own sites, and the merchant dashboard. These products handle real payments for merchants and their customers every day, so quality, performance and clarity really matter.

You’ll make the frontend decisions - architecture, patterns, tooling and quality standards - and work closely with our design team and product owner to turn ideas into polished, reliable experiences. You’ll report to an Engineering Manager.

What you’ll do:

• Own frontend architecture and technical decisions across checkout, the embed and the merchant dashboard
• Partner with design and product from early discovery through delivery, shaping solutions together rather than just implementing specs
• Build and evolve a consistent, reusable component foundation together with the design team
• Drive performance, accessibility and conversion improvements on payment flows
• Set the bar for code quality through reviews, standards and best practices in our Turborepo monorepo
• Contribute to product roadmap decisions

Claude is deeply integrated into our engineering workflows - from writing and reviewing code to exploring and shipping features. We expect you to embrace AI-assisted development and help us push it further on the frontend.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years building production web applications, with deep expertise in React, Next.js and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Next.js App Router
• A track record of owning frontend decisions and explaining the trade-offs behind them
• Experience working closely with designers and product owners
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset and a customer-focused approach
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• GraphQL, TanStack Query, Zod and React Hook Form
• Web3 wallet integrations (Wagmi, Viem, Reown AppKit)
• Experience building embeddable widgets or third-party scripts
• Experience building or maintaining a design system
• Background in payments, checkout or fintech products
• Experience mentoring or leading engineers

Salary:

5000 – 9000 €/monthly gross.
