  • Integrate fire alarm systems with building management systems, access control and other safety systems where required, and validate interface functionality.
  • Provide training and handover to clients and end-users on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
  • Support continuous improvement by recommending upgrades, product choices and design optimizations to improve reliability and usability.

  • Certification or documented experience with national/regional fire alarm standards and testing protocols (e.g., BS 5839, EN 54, NICET or equivalent) and familiarity with commissioning procedures and certification.
  • Experience using test equipment and diagnostic tools for fire alarm systems; ability to interpret circuit diagrams, wiring schematics and manufacturer documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, risk assessment processes, method statements and safe working practices on site.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to prepare clear technical reports and deliver effective handovers and training.
  • Full UK driving license (or equivalent) and willingness to travel between project sites as required.
  • Desirable experience producing technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit or other CAD/3D modelling tools and familiarity with print production processes for manuals and signage.
