Job Description
• $150–$200 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of AI coding systems, on your own schedule, and get paid for the engineering judgment you already use.
The AI systems changing how software gets built are trained and tested by real software engineers. The teams building them need engineers who can create challenging software problems, judge whether AI-generated code works and is well designed, write reference solutions and test cases, and explain where the implementation falls short. Your technical judgment helps shape the next generation of AI coding systems. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Design realistic software challenges and build reference solutions with test cases for model evaluation
• Judge AI-generated implementations for maintainability, design, correctness and code quality.
• Assess how AI reasons about architecture and debugging, including whether its implementation works as intended
• Write detailed feedback on technical decisions, model performance and design weaknesses
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $150–$200 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI coding tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most software engineers will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping software engineering, and the engineers who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• At least one year of professional software engineering experience at a top technology company, including some experience within the past three years.
• Professional fluency in English, including clear technical writing
• Working knowledge of code review, debugging, algorithms, data structures and software architecture
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $150–$200 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
