Senior Manager – Consumer Goods, Retail & Lifestyle

**Management Consulting Business Development Transformation**

Salary: £120,000 – £130,000

Location: London (2 days per week onsite)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Manager to join a leading management and technology consultancy, helping drive growth across its Consumer Goods, Retail & Lifestyle practice.

This is a commercially focused leadership position, combining business development (60–70%) with strategic consulting and transformation delivery.

You will play a key role in expanding the consultancy’s presence within the Consumer Goods / FMCG and Retail sectors, developing new client relationships, generating pipeline and securing new business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive business development across Consumer Goods, FMCG, Retail and Lifestyle clients.
• Leverage existing industry relationships to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities.
• Own and develop sales pipelines, lead proposals and secure consulting engagements.
• Build relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
• Shape and lead consulting engagements across Project & Portfolio Management (PPM), Business Transformation, Organisational Design and Change Management.
• Lead strategic initiatives covering operating model transformation, commercial excellence and performance improvement.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and generate additional revenue.
• Support practice growth through proposition development, thought leadership and mentoring junior consultants.

Key Requirements:

• Strong background in management consulting, ideally at Senior Manager, Associate Director or Director level.
• Proven track record of business development and winning consulting engagements.
• Experience working with clients across Consumer Goods, FMCG/CPG or Retail.
• Established network of senior industry contacts, ideally across the UK or Europe.
• Consulting experience across PPM, Business Transformation, Organisational Design, Operating Model Transformation or Change Management.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience developing proposals, managing pipelines and converting opportunities into revenue.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
