Job Description
Product Lead, Multifamily
Full-Time Remote (United States, open to Canada)Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 USD
Why Pest Share?
Founded in 2019 by category experts, Pest Share is building the category leader in on-demand pest control for rental homes through our scalable, automated solutions. We’re a fast-growing, fully remote B2B SaaS company trusted by over 1000 property management clients and serving more than 400,000 residents across 48 states. Our team is made up of exceptional, motivated individuals united by skill, passion, and purpose. By embracing and encouraging authenticity, we created a culture built on trust, connection, and accountability.
About the Position
Multifamily is where this matters most, and where we’re pushing hardest. A regional or national operator running thousands of doors is repeating the same broken process across hundreds of properties, with no central visibility and no consistent standard of execution. Solving that is a large, specific, and winnable problem.
Here is the honest framing of this role. We are a pest control company, not a multifamily company. Our product is strong, our platform is real, and our automation works. What we need is someone who genuinely knows the multifamily world and can tell us what our product has to become to serve it properly. That is the job.
You will own the property manager experience for multifamily end-to-end. This is a player/coach role. You will set the strategy and stay hands-on in the product work, and you will lead the delivery team building it. As we scale the product organization, you will build and lead a team of product managers underneath you.
What you will own
- Multifamily product strategy. Define what the Pest Share property manager experience needs to be for multifamily operators, from independent managers to national portfolios, and defend that view with evidence.
- The roadmap. Own the roadmap for the property manager experience: what we build, what we do not, and in what order. Prioritization is yours to make and yours to explain.
- The team. Lead the delivery team building the property manager experience, setting direction and priorities day to day while staying close enough to the work to do it yourself when that is what the moment needs. As we scale, you will hire, grow, and lead the product managers who take on pieces of this domain.
- Discovery. Run continuous discovery with property managers and portfolio operators. Turn what you hear into jobs to be done, opportunity mapping, and shipped product.
- The commercial connection. Partner closely with sales, customer success, and solutions engineering so what we build lands in enterprise multifamily deals, and so what we learn in those deals reaches the roadmap.
- Outcomes, not output. Own the metrics that define success for the property manager experience: automation rate, time to resolution, cost per service event, compliance pass rate, and platform NPS.
Required Qualifications
- Deep multifamily domain expertise. This is the non-negotiable one. You have built product for, sold into, or operated inside the multifamily residential world, and you understand how property management teams actually work: the workflows, the systems, the org structures, the compliance obligations, and the economics of a portfolio.
- Strategic product leadership. You have operated at senior product manager level or above and are ready to own a domain outright. What we need here is someone who can walk in and say, with conviction and evidence, this is what we strategically need to be driving.
- Player/coach instincts. You are senior enough to lead a delivery team and set its direction, and hands-on enough to write the spec, run the discovery call, and work through the edge cases yourself. You have led people formally or informally, you want to grow a team, and you treat developing product managers as part of the job rather than a distraction from it.
- Enterprise product experience. You have shipped products to enterprise or mid-market B2B customers where implementation, integration, and change management are part of the deal, not an afterthought.
- Comfort with technical depth. You do not need to be an engineer, but you need to hold your own in conversations about APIs, integrations, and data models, and translate between engineering and the business without losing either side.
- Directness. You …
