Job Description
• $80–$125 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of medical AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the inpatient expertise you already have.
The medical AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real physicians. The teams building them need internal medicine physicians who can work through realistic inpatient cases, determine whether the record supports the system’s clinical statements, write the answer a physician would give, and point out exactly where the system falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of medical AI models. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Review inpatient FHIR data and clinical notes against the source medical record
• Assess HPI, assessments and plans for details that are missing, wrong or inconsistent
• Check medication interactions and dosing adjusted for renal or hepatic function
• Apply the review guidelines consistently and provide structured feedback on the model’s performance and the quality of the underlying records
Why this is worth your time
• Build real AI skills while earning $80–$125 an hour on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier medical AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most internal medicine physicians will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping inpatient medicine, and the physicians who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• Hold an MD or DO and board certification in Internal Medicine; eligibility may also extend to physicians with a designation focused on Hospital Medicine
• Have at least five years of hospitalist experience, with inpatient hospitalist work that is current or was completed within the past two years
• Professional fluency in English, with strong knowledge of admission workflows, daily progress-note workflows, care transitions and discharge workflows
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $80–$125 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
