Job Description
• $80–$125 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of medical AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the hospital medicine expertise you already have.
The medical AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real hospitalists and other clinical experts. The teams building them need physicians who can review realistic records, judge whether the AI’s clinical information is supported, describe what an accurate and complete professional review should say, and explain exactly where the AI or its data falls short. Your judgment becomes part of how the next generation of medical AI models works. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Compare raw medical records with clinical notes and FHIR data, checking whether the AI’s claims match the source material
• Assess adult inpatient records for histories, medication reconciliation, social history, assessments and plans
• Review admission notes, daily progress notes, transition-of-care records and discharge records for completeness and consistency
• Flag gaps and errors, then provide clear, guideline-based feedback on clinical data quality
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid the equivalent of $80–$125 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier medical AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most hospitalists will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping hospital medicine, and the physicians who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• MD or DO with Internal Medicine board certification, or an Internal Medicine board-certified physician whose practice designation focuses on Hospital Medicine
• Five or more years of hospitalist experience, plus current or recent inpatient hospitalist work at some point in the past two years
• Active medical licensure, fluent English, and a strong understanding of inpatient charting and hospital workflows, with comfort reviewing raw medical records, FHIR data and clinical notes
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $80–$125 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
