Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a full-stack Lead Software Developer with 6-8+ years of experience to join our fast-growing development team! You will combine your strong technical expertise and passion for problem-solving to make an immediate impact designing, developing, and deploying maintainable and scalable technology solutions in our cloud-centric environment.

• This role requires active, day-to-day coding as part of your deliverables. Please apply only if writing code is a regular part of your current role.
• This is a client-facing role, exceptional communication is a must.
• Interview process includes hands-on coding rounds candidates must be comfortable writing and reviewing code during the interview

Responsibilities

Work as a member of the development team to deliver the highest quality software solutions for our clients

Engage in planning solutions for product feature work, including supporting vetting new ideas, owning technical designs, and providing suggestions for overall product improvements

Implementing business functionality by working closely with development team, business team, account management team and infrastructure team members

Improving product code quality and maintainability through clearly defined standards and code reviews

Promoting a culture of continuous improvement

Must-Have Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

5+ years experience with one or more of the following languages: PHP, JavaScript, Java, C#

Proficiency in front-end development using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular is required.

5+ years experience with one or more of the following database systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL

Experience delivering software solutions in an Agile environment

Knowledge of OOP concepts and design patterns

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Earn bonus points by telling us about your experience in the following:

5+ years experience using one or more of the following IDEs: Intellij, PhpStorm, Visual Studio

Experience working in a cloud-centric environment (such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

Experience using modern JavaScript frameworks to build user-friendly and accessible interfaces (such as Angular, React, etc. )

Experience and interest in digital marketing concepts such as search engine/social media marketing, search engine optimization, and data analytics
