AEM Business Consultant / Product Owner

Location: 100% Remote

Engagement: Long-term, multi-year engagement

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced AEM Business Consultant / Product Owner to lead business requirements and product delivery for enterprise digital experience implementations.

This individual will serve as the bridge between client stakeholders and delivery teams, translating business objectives into prioritized requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. The successful candidate will bring practical AEM implementation experience, strong consulting skills and the ability to guide complex Agile projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead Product Owner for enterprise AEM implementation engagements.
• Facilitate discovery and requirements workshops with business, marketing, content and technology stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with client stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Apply AEM platform knowledge to recommend practical solutions and implementation approaches.
• Define requirements for interfaces, integrations and production content or data migrations.
• Align stakeholders on scope, priorities, dependencies and delivery decisions.
• Identify gaps and project issues, evaluate options and present recommendations.
• Support acceptance testing, release readiness and knowledge transfer.
• Mentor team members and document reusable delivery practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with enterprise web platforms, content management or digital experience implementations.
• 3+ years of direct client consulting experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AEM solutions.
• Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Business Analyst, with Scrum Master or Project Manager responsibilities.
• Experience managing backlogs and requirements using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience reviewing and elaborating business and technical requirements.
• Experience defining requirements for integrations, interfaces and migrations.
• Understanding of APIs, SaaS, cloud services and content management systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Adobe AEM Business Practitioner certification.
• Experience with user experience design or UI delivery.
• Development, product testing or user acceptance testing experience.
• Experience with enterprise content workflows and governance.
