Position Overview

* Job Title: Textile Designer (2D / 3D) – Digital Textile Printing

* Department: Design & Pre-Press Production

* Employment Type: Full-time

* Experience Required: 4+ Years in Apparel & Textile Design

* Compensation: ₹20,000 to ₹1,00,000 per month + Performance-Based Incentives (commensurate with skills, portfolio, and experience)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and creative Textile Designer (2D/3D) to lead digital print design and 3D visualization for our digital textile printing plant. The ideal candidate will combine strong aesthetic vision with technical understanding of digital printing machinery, color management, fabric behavior, and 3D virtual draping/fitting.

Key Responsibilities

* 2D Surface & Print Design:

* Create original artwork, repeats (seamless, drop, engineered, all-over prints), and digital collections for apparel.

* Adapt client briefs, mood boards, and seasonal trend forecasts into commercially viable digital prints.

* Manage color separations, colorway variations, indexing, and resolution optimization.

* 3D Garment Visualization & Prototyping:

* Model and drape 2D prints onto 3D digital garment models/avatars (using tools like CLO 3D, Marvelous Designer, or Blender).

* Produce photorealistic 3D renders for client approvals, e-commerce previews, and pre-production sampling.

* Digital Pre-Press & Production Coordination:

* Prepare ready-to-print RIP files aligned with print resolution (DPI) and fabric shrinkage/stretch allowances.

* Oversee strike-offs, lab dips, color matching, and profile calibration alongside machine operators.

* Work with diverse digital printing inks (sublimation, reactive, pigment, acid) across various fabric compositions (cotton, polyester, viscose, silk).

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Technology, or Graphic Arts.

* Experience: Minimum 4+ years dedicated to apparel graphics, surface design, and digital textile printing environments.

* Software Proficiency:

* 2D: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW.

* 3D: CLO 3D, Marvelous Designer, or Blender.

* Pre-Press / RIP Software: Knowledge of Wasatch, Neostampa, Caldera, or similar print servers is an advantage.

* Technical Knowledge: Strong command of color theory, CMYK/RGB/spot color workflows, repeat types, fabric substrates, and print finishing processes.

Pay: ₹884,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
