We’re working with a client who needs an experienced Embedded Linux Software Engineer to help deliver platform and product software on a 3-month contract.

✅ What you’ll need

• Strong commercial experience in embedded Linux software development
• Excellent C programming skills, with C++ experience
• Hands-on experience with Yocto or Buildroot
• Linux kernel experience, including drivers, device tree and bootloaders such as U-Boot
• Experience working on ARM-based SoCs
• Comfort working independently and delivering in a remote contract setting
• Confident with Git, cross-compilation toolchains and Linux debugging tools (GDB, strace, perf)

• £400 to £500 per day, Outside IR35
• 3-month initial contract
• Fully remote
• Immediate or short-notice availability preferred
